On this excursion through the centre of Amsterdam, a professional entomologist will show you which unexpected insects you can find right in the heart of the city.

You will be guided by entomologists Maaike de Voogd or Menno Schilthuizen from Taxon Expeditions, a renowned scientific travel agency. Take a closer look at the thriving world of insects amidst the urban landscape of the Jordaan neighborhood in Amsterdam. This immersive experience will reveal the hidden ecosystem within the city, deepening your appreciation for the intricate biodiversity which has adapted alongside us. Join this exploration led by a scientist to learn about and observe the tiny creatures that call Amsterdam home.

The tour takes is offered two times on Saturday May, 18th. You can choose the time frame that suits your schedule. Please contact us for children tickets.
